This is a very simple data collection method for working out how many of a certain business type there is in a particular location. Yelp is great for this because it has so many categories (Trip Advisor is another option).

It won't take too long if you don't have too many locations of business types to get through.

If you do have lots of locations to get through, you can automate scraping yelp with Axiom (help pages here - check out video 5, it's not an exact example, but the concept is the same).
