If you think we might have a profile on you, this page explains what we hold about you, why, and how to see, change, or delete it.
What we hold
If you have a profile in our database, it will usually include some of the following:
Your name
Your contact details, usually an email address
Your job title and employer
The topics you write about
Links to articles you've written
Your public social media profiles
A photo, where one is published publicly
We build profiles from articles carrying your byline and from other publicly available sources.
Why we hold it
Our customers are individuals that work in PR, or are looking to do PR for their own business. They use our database to find journalists that would be interested in covering their story.
How to see, correct or remove it
If you want to see, correct, or remove your data - you have
1) Message us on our live chat and ask. Someone will get back to you within one working day.
2) Email veronica@journofinder.com, again someone will get back to you within one working day.
Tell us your name, and if you can, the email address or profile you're asking about. It helps us find the right record, especially if you've written under more than one address over the years.
You can ask us to:
Show you what we hold. We'll send you your profile so you can see all the information you hold on us.
Correct it. If we have your beat, your employer or your contact details wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.
Remove you. We can delete your entire profile, or simply remove your contact details.
